Whether it’s a website, book or internal publication, I steer editorial projects from conception through to completion. I can bring together a team of experienced professionals (writers, additional editors, designers, photographers, illustrators, videographers, web developers) from my network of trusted associates, and can also provide individual editorial services and bespoke publishing packages.
Casita (‘little house’) is the website of Anna Norman, a writer, multimedia editor and non-fiction book publisher with 20+ years experience.
What i provide
I provide creative and strategic editorial project management and publishing services for brands, publishers, museums, cultural organisations and charities, to ensure that your book, publication or digital project is delivered on time, on budget and to the highest editorial and design standards.
“As Editorial Director at Time Out Guides, I commissioned Anna many times and found her unfailingly reliable. She is great on management and logistics, technologically able and an excellent communicator who always brought her projects in to budget and on deadline. She is also a talented writer, editor and researcher and an inspiring commissioning editor. Anna understands both the big picture and the detail work and knows when to act on her own initiative and when to consult and balance the needs of stakeholders”

Who I've worked with
Casita Press, my micro imprint, was set up to publish Las Chimeneas, a recipe/food book focused on a village restaurant in southern Spain. The book was shortlisted for the 2017 Guild of Food Writers ‘Food and Travel’ Award. Casita Press is focused on ‘small stories’ of how people live (and eat) around the world. It reflects my professional background as a travel writer-editor (see www.annanorman.co.uk) and my academic background in social anthropology.
